Larch wall and bookcase cladding

To update the interior design of the Grand Tétras hotel in Saint-Véran, Hautes-Alpes, I installed larch cladding on one of the interior walls of the lounge. The planks were 18cm wide and 2cm thick. I also installed a power outlet and base for the future smart TV. The old small cabinet was replaced with a handmade wall-mounted bookcase using the same planks as the cladding. It's 36cm deep, using two planks. I doubled the uprights and vertical dividers for a more polished look, resulting in a piece that enhances the lounge of this beautiful hotel with its magnificent view of the Queyras mountains.
