Self-built constructed wetland wastewater treatment system connected to the main house and the guest house, based on an Aquatiris study, sized for 9 equivalent inhabitants, resulting in a vertical basin of 18m². This is a short-cycle system, approved by the SPANC (Public Non-Collective Sanitation Service). The aim was to replace the two old septic tanks, which no longer met current standards and were a source of regular problems. Careful planning of the system's placement on the land was crucial to ensure the basin blended seamlessly into the natural surroundings.

Taking advantage of the excavation for the phytoremediation pond, a 25m³ rainwater harvesting tank, made of poured concrete blocks, was installed. It was buried to follow the contours of the land and sealed with a special paint. It will then be covered by a beautiful wooden deck, making it completely invisible. A pump system was installed to supply an outdoor tap network for watering, and also a filtration system to supply the washing machine and toilets in the house.
